Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you get started with SEO Platform in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, ensure you have access to:

  • An active SEO Platform account
  • API credentials (if using the API)

Step 1: Access the Dashboard​

  1. Navigate to app.seo-platform.com
  2. Log in with your credentials
  3. You'll land on the main dashboard

Step 2: Create Your First Taxonomy​

A taxonomy is a hierarchical structure for organizing keywords.

  1. Click Taxonomies in the sidebar
  2. Click Create New Taxonomy
  3. Enter a name (e.g., "Product Categories")
  4. Add top-level categories
  5. Add subcategories as needed
tip

Start with a simple taxonomy structure. You can always add more categories later.

Step 3: Import Keywords​

  1. Go to Keywords in the sidebar
  2. Click Import Keywords
  3. Upload a CSV file with your keywords
  4. Map columns to keyword fields
  5. Click Import

CSV Format​

Your CSV should have at least a keyword column:

keyword,search_volume
buy shoes online,10000
running shoes,5000
nike shoes,8000

Step 4: Classify Keywords​

  1. Select keywords to classify
  2. Choose your target taxonomy
  3. Select the AI model:
    • GPT-4o: Higher accuracy, higher cost
    • GPT-4o-mini: Good accuracy, lower cost
  4. Click Classify
  5. Review and confirm results

Step 5: Review Results​

After classification:

  1. Check the assigned categories
  2. Review confidence scores
  3. Manually adjust any misclassifications
  4. Export results if needed
